Technical Operations ManagerApply
This leadership position requires the ability to manage broadcast production workflows and related technology infrastructure of KPIX & KBCW. Technical Operations Manager will supervise control room and studio crews, determine most efficient workflows and lead integration of new production systems and technologies.
Degree or equivalent experience in television production, broadcasting, computer science or related field required. Possess excellent studio and field production background, proven leadership skills, clear concise verbal and written skills. Proficient with broadcast production equipment such as, Sony Switchers, Calrec Audio, Grass Valley Stratus or similar MAM, Chyron Graphics, NRCS – iNews preferred, Adobe CC, production automation systems, Telestream Vantage. Good working knowledge of TV station operations. In addition, the successful candidate will possess the ability, leadership, willingness, drive, and initiative to:
· Complete all tasks accurately and on time,
· Successfully collaborate and interact with colleagues/station staff
· Assume personal responsibility for desired goals
3-5 years experience working in Broadcast Production or Engineering Management position. Four years college or equivalent education. Valid driver’s license.
Must be able to perform a variety of tasks that may require sitting or standing for extended periods, reaching, bending, light lifting and carrying. Adequate eyesight and hearing are also a requirement.
