We have an opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our talented CBS sales team. The ideal candidate will lead a team of account executives and implement strategies that deliver customer solutions through multi-media platforms with the ultimate goal of driving revenue and market share and achieving quarterly/annual budgets. This position reports to the VP, Director of Sales.


           Manage key local/national accounts with account executives.

           Develop creative customer focused marketing solutions.

           Lead the sales team in developing new business to the station.

           Expand core business by maximizing CBS Sports & Specials.

           Coach, motivate and lead account executives in all sales efforts.

           Participate in client meetings and build relationships with market decision makers.

           Complete accurate business reports and forecasts.


           Three to five years of sales management experience in television, digital or media industry preferred.

           Interpersonal and leadership skills for motivating staff and maximizing revenue performance.

           Must be able to work in a fast paced, high-pressured sales environment.

           Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, WideOrbit
