Description of Sales Assistant Duties:
Responsible for accuracy of TV order entry and contracts as well as organizing all information, schedules and research for Account Executives. File and maintain all appropriate paperwork related to contracts. Coordinate and prepare materials necessary for sales presentations for clients and media departments of advertising agencies. Position will also include pre and post sale project management with a specific focus on creating marketing materials and research pieces for various sales initiatives.
May handle special projects as directed by Account Executives, Sales Managers, and Sales Assistant Supervisor.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Attention to detail and accuracy very important.
Must have good interpersonal skills and be customer service oriented.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and resolve problems.
B.A. degree in Communication or Marketing is preferred. Prior experience as a sales assistant in a media-related field a plus.
