Assist Market Controller in personnel administration as follows. Processing new hires, coordination of merit review process, union increase administration and similar salary programs. OFCCP and FCC equal opportunity program data collection and preparation. Support managers in recruitment efforts including job posting administration, coordinating station participation in job fairs and similar events and record keeping. Coordinate attendance record keeping. Coordinate union contract data requests by unions as outlined in the contracts. Interface with employees to answer their questions or direct them to the resources available. Track employees off work due to disability including the impact on payroll and our policies. Maintain employee, disability, EEO program and other personnel related files. Assist with personnel related corporate reporting. Review weekly payroll and make adjustments as appropriate. Prepare monthly & quarterly corporate reports in a timely manner Backup other accounting functions and work on special projrcts as assigned by Supervisor.
College or equivalent experience is required.
At least 2 years of payroll or human resources experience required.
Good communication skills required.
Knowledge of Infinium a plus.
Attention to detail and accuracy very important
Excellent organization skills a must
Ability to work well under pressure is essential
Must be able to sit at desk for long periods of time and operate keyboard.
