CBS Television Stations consists of 29 owned-and-operated stations, including 16 that are part of the CBS Television Network, eight affiliates of The CW Network, three independent stations and two MyNetworkTV affiliates. Among its stations are WCBS-TV and WLNY-TV (New York), KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV (Los Angeles), WBBM-TV (Chicago), KYW-TV and WPSG-TV (Philadelphia), KTVT-TV and KTXA-TV (Dallas-Ft.   • Master control operator responsible for maintaining WCCO’s on-air programming, airing CBS network and local programs, commercial content
  • Monitor transmitters and standard broadcast equipment, maintain logs, quality control
  • Ingest content, tune in and route satellite and local live news feeds
  • Recent experience in an automated broadcast master control center with a working understanding of signal flow
  • Proven track record of identifying and pro-actively solving program and technical issues, and noting discrepancies when appropriate
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Minimum two years working in a similar position 

  • Strongest candidates will have experience with news audio or studio robotics and have a desire to expand into live news production
  • Ability to multitask and work accurately as part of a team in a busy broadcast environment is essential

Additional Information: 

  • Must be open to working early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays as shifts vary
  • Candidate is required to join IBEW Union if not currently a member
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and push 75 pounds
