WFOR-TV CBS 4 in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale (market #16) has an available opportunity for a passionate, energetic and highly motivated video-journalist. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of original storytelling using powerful images, compelling sound and effective lighting techniques.  We are looking for a video-journalist that will strive for excellence and innovation.  In addition to story production, this candidate should also have experience in live television production and non-linear editing in a fast paced environment. The job is strenuous sometimes. Driving a company vehicle, working outside for lengthy periods (including hot or inclement weather) are all required
  •  No less than 5 years experience as a news video-journalist in a medium-large TV market.
  • Experience operating ENG microwave vehicles and bonded cell technology. (eg.LiveU/Dejero) is required along with knowledge of FTP and posting video.

  • A valid driver’s license with a good driving record. A background check will verify the information provided.

  • Successful individual must be a team player and work well with others under deadline in sometimes very stressful environments. 

  • Must be flexibile to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

  • A college degree is preferred.
