Description:
  • Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns and compelling story angles to enhance and increase client visibility using all traditional and emerging forms of media to support CBS Series.
  • Create and disseminate information and unique, visually appealing content across all national and local media with a strong emphasis on social media and other digital platforms. 
  • Liaison with talent, producers, and management to facilitate ongoing publicity support for series.
  • Plan, develop and executes talent publicity trips, press junkets and on-set media visits in support of series.
  • Draft press materials, pitch angles, talking points, fact sheets, pitch letters, media alerts and press releases for assigned series. 
  • Develop professional relationships, trust and credibility with media writers/editors, talent bookers, content creators and influencers to build program awareness.




Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7 years experience in media relations.
  • Strong organizational and management skills.
  • Ability to set goals and prioritize.
  • Must have excellent knowledge of social media and new emerging platforms.
  • Strong contacts and excellent relationships with key media and influencers across print, digital, and electronic platforms. 
  • Must be a fast-moving, strategic thinker.
  • Highly collaborative, flexible and adaptable, with strong diplomatic and influencing skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills. Experience drafting speeches/remarks for senior management, as well as briefing documents and releases is required. 
  • Previous experience rolling out creative and innovative communications campaigns.                                                                   # LI-AP1
