Responsible for the overall integrity of the financial/accounting process and related financial systems and the leadership of the related employee teams.

  • Business partner with SVP and President
  • Directly supervise Business Systems, General Accounting (includes Fixed Asset & Job Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, Purchasing, Cashier and retail store) and Accounting Services (includes Facility Billing, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Licenses & Fees and Inventory Control).
  • Maintain a broad view of operations and interrelation of financial systems
  • Compliance with all CBS accounting procedures, practices and policies.
  •  Ensure the existence and adequacy of Internal Controls.
  • Risk Management identification and mitigation (within areas of responsibility)
  • Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems
  • Serve as key point of contact for external/internal auditors and CBS Corporate/Network for Finance & Tax
  • Serve as key point of contact for vendor contracts, coordination with CBS Legal and terms negotiation
  • Financial oversight, management and compliance
  • Compliance with all CBS accounting procedures, practices and policies.
  • Tax administration; compliance with local, state and federal tax codes.
  • Lease contract administration.
  • Consultant/strategic partner to other Studio executives
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

  • BA degree in Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • 10+ years of experience in senior-level finance or accounting position for a major company or division of a large corporation
  • Prior experience with on-line accounting systems, supervision, management and administration.
  • Strong background in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), federal, state and local tax codes, internal controls, compliance (SOX, PCI, tax, etc.), financial systems and interpersonal communications
