CBS Consumer Products manages worldwide licensing and merchandising for a diverse slate of television brands and series from CBS, CBS Television Studios and CBS Television Distribution, as well as from the company’s extensive library of titles, SHOWTIME and CBS Films. Additionally, the group oversees online sales of programming merchandise.
Junior level marketing communications manager role supporting the CBS Consumer Products team. Job responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Liaise with licensees:
Solicit and review marketing plans & develop cross-licensee promotional programs.
Identify editorial and promotional opportunities with Star Trek digital team:
Reveal and promote key items.
Showcase key items during peak sales periods.
Create B2B marketing communication materials:
Develop newsletters for licensees and retailers.
Coordinate Webex meetings.
Update sales presentations.
Maintain published licensee lists.
Update CBSconsumerproducts.com website.
Manage licensee PR activities:
Review and edit licensee releases.
Coordinate approvals through CBS PR.
Liaise with external PR agency to amplify key releases.
Maintain CBS CP brand retail shops:
Liaise with licensees and international teams to identify key products.
Coordinate shop support with Star Trek digital team.
Skills & Requirements:
- 1-3 years Marketing, Licensing or related experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, writing and PowerPoint skills.
- Proficient with Adobe Photoshop.
- Self-motivated team player.
- Ability to travel.
