CBS was established in 1928, when founder William Paley purchased 16 independent radio stations and christened them the Columbia Broadcast System. The Current Programming internship will provide interns with a unique look into how this department works with producers and studio/network staff to launch new series and oversee current scripted programming. Our department currently oversees over 30 drama and comedy series. Interns will assist with such office tasks as copying, filing, and writing script coverage and episode summaries.
All students should have a high attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Must have strong oral and written communication skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience with Outlook is a plus
Must be actively enrolled in a 4-year college.
