This position reports to Director, sales administration & legal services, and is primarily responsible for analyzing, entering and maintaining domestic syndication sales and financial information in CTD proprietary database systems. 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze television license contracts for Domestic cable, new media, national syndication and local free TV

  • Entry of deal terms, billing, performance clauses and special contract provisions in CTD proprietary database system

  • Analyze, update and report licensee usage and channel information for basic cable and national syndication agreements and disseminate information to various departments within CTD and CBS Corporate

  • Prepare and submit system contract change orders to Legal and Finance Department for approvals

  • Generate and distribute standard and ad hoc system reports

  • Review and analyze contractual compliance of licensee’s reported time period changes and alert Sales and Legal of potential out-of-contract issues

  • Perform additional duties as assigned 

Education and Qualification Requirements:

  • High school diploma

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, and other Windows applications

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a time-intensive, demanding environment

  • Prior experience in the local television or syndication business

  • Strong attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

  • College degree from an accredited institution

  • Ability to analyze complex license agreements

  • Basic knowledge of Domestic cable, new media and syndication business
