ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT is looking for a dynamic Senior Reporter who can break news and provide exclusive reporting using their deep rolodex of celebrity and industry contacts. This is NOT an on-camera role. You’ll be working on our newsdesk and shaping the content on both our broadcast and digital platforms.
The ideal candidate is extremely proactive and is comfortable owning a story from start to finish. You must be passionate about entertainment news and come to the table with a wealth of already established sources. You will be the go-to reporter when news breaks. We will expect you to make contacts that will help advance our coverage. You must also be familiar with handling court records and calling authorities (i.e. fire, police, etc) for information. Most importantly you must be unwavering in your dedication to detail and factual reporting.
You will be working in a 24/7 high-pressure (but extremely close knit) environment. We value collaboration and teamwork. An unshakeable positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed is at the top of our criteria list. The Senior Reporter will report to ET’s News Director.
