The analyst will help track and analyze the audience for CTD syndicated and CBS Studio programming using Nielsen and WRAP software. Under the supervision of managers, the analyst will provide program and marketplace intelligence using quantitative data. Assist in the creation of one sheets and presentations for the CTD Sales force. Help track and analyze network and syndicated properties.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Engage with VP, director and manager-level associates within the department on projects

  • Analyze and interpret data (broadcast, cable & local markets)

  • Create sweeps presentations and performance one-sheets for broadcast stations based on current first-run/off-network programs as well as library product

  • Generate and apply ideas that incorporate both station and viewer needs

  • Ability to objectively analyze ratings information under direction of management

  • Ability to write press points that highlight our shows

  • 1-2 years of experience in ratings research at a syndicator, station, broadcast/cable network or digital media company

  • Proficient in Keynote, Excel, Word, WRAP Sweeps, WRAP Overnights and NNTV

  • Working knowledge of NPower, MRI, and ComScore is a plus

  • Knowledge of the television business, evolving trends and their impact on our day to day business functions.

  • Strong communication skills with an ability to interface effectively with direct reports, and company management.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
