Award winning news magazine Inside Edition is seeking an experienced Producer to join our Los Angeles Bureau.

The successful candidate will pitch, research, develop, shoot, write and edit magazine stories as well as cover breaking news.

Applicant must have a passion for story-telling, extensive field experience and an ability to work in a fast past news environment.

Experience in entertainment journalism is a plus but having a hard news background is a must.  



*Pitch, research, develop, write and produce stories under deadline pressure

*Maintain and develop contacts that will generate exclusive stories

*Knowledge of Avid 1 News TV production systems and computer assisted reporting research

*Familiarity with all social media platforms

*Ability to work with on camera talent

*Strong communication skills

*Availability to travel extensively and work long hours including weekends and holidays



*Minimum of five years’ experience working as a television news producer   

*Minimum of two years’ experience producing stories for a network or similar nationally syndicated magazine.

*Demonstrated ability to shoot and edit video for broadcast

*Bachelors’ degree in journalism or communications

*Must be willing to travel throughout the United States and beyond

*Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

*Must have a valid Drivers’ license
