The CBS Distribution Receivables department is seeking a highly motivated finance professional who is a self-starter and team player. Candidate must be detailed oriented, organized, capable of working well within a fast paced environment with multiple strict deadlines, and possess the analytical skills to reconcile accounts, prepare reports and create/edit computer reports. The individual will work closely with management and duties will include the following:

  • Reconciliation of clearing and liability accounts
  • Preparation of passback report for CBS FILMS Division
  • Assisting with the variance analysis for Domestic Cash Receipts
  • Preparing journals as needed
  • Assisting in the creation of computer reports used for reconciling cash
  • Maintaining cash log                                           
  • Downloading bank files
  • Providing backup for other staff members including assisting in processing wire transfers and adjustments in TVR
  • Working closely with management on special projects
  • Researching reconciling items and contact appropriate individual to have correcting entries made
  • Assisting in the testing of computer systems upgrades
  • Assisting in disaster recovery testing


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with 1-2 years of accounting experience. 
  • Excellent oral and communication skills
  • Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • 10 key skills
  • Experience with Oracle general ledger software and Cognos is preferred
