The Production Finance department at CBS Television Distribution seeks a Financial Coordinator. Primary responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Collecting and compiling invoices from the various department heads, and routing the invoices for required approvals.

  • Reviewing invoices for mathematical accuracy and validating amounts with contracts/estimates/purchase orders.

  • Coding invoices to the correct general ledger account.

  • Verifying product codes are open and available for coding.

  • Performing new vendor due diligence, including requesting W9 forms and ACH payment information.

  • Researching and following up on the payment status of invoices.

  • Preparing and processing journal entries and maintaining journal entry binders.

  • Performing various treasury/banking duties including reviewing bank and positive pay reconciliations and working with shows to resolve issues.

  • Maintaining and updating CBS Intercompany/Related Party schedules.

  • Maintaining and updating lease and talent commitment schedules.

  • Facilitating and completing documentation requests for various internal and external audits.        

  • Reviewing monthly production and marketing flash reports for accuracy.

  • Assisting in the annual 1099 tax reporting process for shows.

  • Completing ad-hoc requests and projects.


  • Four-year degree in Finance/Accounting/Business

  • Possess a genuine eagerness and enthusiasm to learn.

  • Able to work and contribute to a team environment.

  • Able to take direction and follow instruction and demonstrate an ability to think independently.
