Description:
CBS Studios International is looking for a Publicity Intern for Fall 2018. Must be a current student and able to provide proof of enrollment. Please include a short cover letter outlining why you would be a great fit for the internship. Intern will help with daily press clippings and press clippings library Administrative work preparing for events, including international press junket, press conferences, etc. - Developing and maintaining contact lists - Daily administrative tasks (answering phones, filing, etc.) - Transcribing interviews Other projects as they are assigned
Qualifications:

-Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college. 

-Must be available at least 2 to 3 full days of the week. 

-Must be committed to pursuing a career in PR/publicity/communications Familiarity with CBS programming, the industry, our talent, etc. 

-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and PC computers Fluent in English (able to write, read, transcribe, etc. at a professional level) 

-Must have professional demeanor (on the phone, in the office, dealing with executives or talent), good communications skills and discretion.

-Must be enthusiastic and passionate about the company and about the field – we want someone who wants to be here Willing to do any task as they come up Able to both take direction and work independently Willing to be proactive and take advantage of your time here Able to work under pressure and on a deadline.

Preferred: Interest or background in television is preferred, international television is even better. Have an understanding of media landscape (key trades, publications, etc.) Have worked industry events.
