Description:

The Associate Manager on the CBS Brand Studio team within CBS Television Distribution will work closely with external clients as well as marketing, production, and media sales teams to sell and bring to life meaningful partnerships that help drive revenue for CBS Television Distribution’s slate of premium properties: Entertainment Tonight, Daily Mail TV, Inside Edition, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, Rachael Ray, Dr. Phil, and The Doctors.


This position must draw on knowledge and expertise within the sales, television, PR, brand marketing, original content development, partnerships, and business planning industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and execute content experiences for Fortune 500 marketers and consumers
  • Support all functions of the CBS Brand Studio team
  • Build proposal decks, one-sheets and newsletters
  • Create and maintain calendars and status reports
  • Ongoing communication with sales and management on upcoming integrated programs
  • Air traffic control for key integration dates, liaising with media sales and digital teams
  • Interface with potential clients on behalf of the CBS Brand Studio Team to help generate new revenue and opportunities
  • Work with marketers to gain a deep understanding of their brand, campaign, objectives, target and messaging
  • Foster strong, genuine relationships with both internal and external partners to galvanize support for programs
  • Collaborate with producers to develop strategic creative ideas that deliver for the brand and delight our audiences
  • Optimize campaigns by educating clients on: audiences, creative process, storytelling, talent, production, metrics and trends
  • Share results (quantitative, qualitative and anecdotal) to demonstrate best practices, proven results and impact brands can expect
  • Handle billing and pacing reports

Qualifications:

Skills/Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of relevant marketing, production, or agency experience
  • Thinks creatively & strategically
  • Detail-oriented and great organizational habits
  • Highly driven & motivated with excellent follow up
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and knows how to work cross-functionally
  • Creative problem solver
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about new and emerging media trends and practices
  • Basic video editing and design skills a plus

Educational Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree
  • Major in Communication/Marketing/Business/Media/Advertising preferred
