Description:

The Sales Coordinator supports the Global Digital & Online Sales Group.  The core responsibilities of this job include:

·         Provide daily, weekly and monthly sales tracking and reporting to Adult/Children’s Publishing Divisions

·         Compiling sales materials for sell-in and reorder solicitation for Amazon/Print

·         Creation of key title presentations:  weekly/monthly/seasonally and on an ad-hoc basis

·         Creation of Seasonal PowerPoint decks for account meetings, Business Reviews, & BEA

·         Weekly Communication of Publicity/Promotions to all Online & Digital accounts

·         Manage Monthly Newsletter for Online & Digital Accounts

·         General sales analysis projects for department.

·         Strategic metadata updates and cleanup for both frontlist and backlist titles.

Qualifications:

·         4 year college degree or equivalent work experience

·         Prior office experience; at least one year of related experience for the Coordinator level

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

·         Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate initiative in a deadline driven environment

·         Strong interpersonal skills

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

·         Prior knowledge of Cognos preferred, or a desire to learn

·         Strong interest in book publishing, content strategy, and the digital marketplace
