Supports producers in all aspects of the production of audiobooks. Excellent writing & communications skills are essential, as is a love of books & audio. The AP assists producers on all aspects of S&S’s audio productions, including preparation for recording sessions, script review, research and pronunciations, and arrangements with authors and actors. The AP also serves as back-up to producers during recording sessions, as well as during the post-production process. Within a short period of time, he/she should be able to stand in for a producer as script editor, director or post-production supervisor when needed. The AP will also be involved in the coordination of manuscripts, credits and studio scheduling.
College degree and minimum two years publishing or creative production experience necessary. Must be proficient with computers, both Macs and PCs, database programs, Excel, and file formatting. Must also be detail-oriented and highly organized.
