Freelance Marketing Manager, ScribnerApply
Scribner seeks a Freelance Marketing Manager (for approximately four months) to develop and execute title-by-title marketing campaigns across the imprint
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Working closely with multiple departments to communicate new initiatives and manage projects
Helping execute effective bookseller outreach and online campaigns that increase sales.
Maintaining and updating Scribner Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts
Coordinating Goodreads Giveaways and promotions
Overseeing in-house studio’s filming, editing, and tracking of author videos
Coordinating account mailings – galleys and finished books
Coordinating academic and library outreach with the Ed/Library group
Designing sell-sheets for the sales reps
Updating metadata for internal use and eRetailers
A minimum of 3 years of experience in online creative marketing with demonstrated success in content creation
Excellent project management and communications skills.
Experience in designing for the web, with computer skills including Adobe Flash, Adobe Photoshop, HTML and CSS, PowerPoint, and video editing experience preferred.
Interest in book publishing and familiarity with Retailers and eBook landscapes is a plus
Creative thinker with grassroots online marketing experience.
Very knowledgeable about social media, mobile, and cutting edge web technologies.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive, driven, and marketing savvy.
