Description:

Simon & Schuster seeks an Education & Library Marketing Manager.  Responsibilities  will include:

—Coordinating Simon & Schuster’s participation in multiple teacher conferences including author programming, exhibit space, and events.

—Spearheading key ed/library marketing initiatives, such as our Book Pantry program http://simonandschusterpublishing.com/thebookpantry/

—Organizing our in-house children’s librarian previews 

—Acting as liaison with Children’s & Adult marketing managers to create seasonal ed/library marketing plans

—Overseeing teacher’s and reading group guide production

—Managing various reading level programs for S&S children’s books

 

Qualifications:
Previous experience in education and library marketing required.

Skills needed include ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, multi-task and prioritize, have excellent written and oral communication skills
