The Coordinator of Promotion Planning and Scheduling will be involved in promotional scheduling for Smithsonian Network’s international channels and helping to schedule secondary events for Smithsonian Network’s domestic channel.


·   Schedule promos on international channels and time out logs for air (50%)

·   Schedule secondary events on domestic channel (30%)

·   Setup promo assets for air in scheduling system (10%)

·   Participate in promotional planning meetings (10%)

The Coordinator of Promotion Planning and Scheduling will be responsible each day for accurately scheduling and timing out international channel schedule logs for delivery for air.  He or she will also be responsible for helping to accurately schedule secondary events for the domestic channel.


·   Bachelors degree

·   1-2 years of network scheduling experience

·   Detail oriented

·   Strong ability to multi-task

·   Self-motivated team player

·   Strong organization skills

·   Excellent communication
