Description:
This position is responsible for the versioning, tagging, titling and final quality check of all on-air materials in addition to supervising all on-air menu building, media loading of upcoming projects, video compression, digital distribution of video for approval, and template edits. 

Specifically, you will handle:
  • Promo Mastering/versioning/edit fixes 
  • Menu Buidling 
  • Re-pack/Conform edit
  • Video compression and other misc. digital video related tasks

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years experience in broadcast post-production.
  • Extensive knowledge of the “Final Cut Pro” video editing platform and a working knowledge of the “Avid” video editing platform.
  • Extensive knowledge of video compression methods and software. 
  • Ability to read and interpret video and audio level monitoring equipment (scopes/meters). 
  • Knowledge of NTSC broadcast standards.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the graphic and technical delivery requirements related to the interstitial product of Showtime and all of its networks.
  • Working knowledge of both the Macintosh and Windows operating systems.
  • Abililty to be highly detail oriented and organized
