Sr. Manager, ResidualsApply
The Sr. Manager of Residuals is responsible for the management of residual set-ups, payments, financial forecasting and accounting for Showtime’s Original Programming.
- Audit and process PayTV residual reimbursement for licensed shows
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of guild agreements with specific knowledge of Pay TV and New Media rules, experience with guild audits, ability to analyze and interpret production and distribution contracts for residual liability and provide reporting and guidance to finance on the related financial impact of residual activities
Financial and analytical experience; contract interpretation skills and interpretive decision-making ability relative to financial calculations; solid written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills; working knowledge of Excel, Access, Word, and report writer, mainframe and database standard functionality and design.
Excellent organizational, planning and time management ability; proven ability to handle multiple high profile projects simultaneously and follow-through on projects independently; ability to contribute as a self-directed team player in accordance with the team structure
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Residual reporting experience and a working knowledge of financial reporting, accounting and finance.
A minimum of five years’ experience is required.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Entertainment industry experience is required.
