Description:
Showtime is looking for a results-driven Project Manager to join our Product team. In this role, you will drive the execution of projects that support the development and management of sports-related product features across devices, including web, mobile, smart TVs and game consoles. 


WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Own overall project communication and coordination internally and with external vendors; ensure that all project goals and tasks are clearly documented, well-articulated, understood and completed
Monitor, communicate and crush project risks and roadblocks
Drive discussion when conflicts arise and work with the team on alternatives or different approaches; find a way to make it happen
Assist with overall resource planning and project roadmap schedule
Develop project plans for key initiatives using appropriate planning techniques that track progress of critical business objectives; highlight and resolve risks surfaced by such plans
Review business, functional and technical requirements for completeness and identify any gaps
Recommend and implement process changes to internal stakeholders, as necessary

Qualifications:
You have 3-5 years of project management experience in the digital media industry, preferably with video-based multi-platform sports or entertainment applications
You have 3-5 years of management experience bringing medium to large-scale complex projects through the full development life cycle using Agile methodologies
You have a unique blend of technical fluency and relationship building skills
You have proven experience in strategic planning, risk management and change management
You are skilled at managing and negotiating with external vendors
You are preferably an avid consumer of live sports with a deep understanding of the streaming video ecosystem
Knowledge of Jira/Confluence along with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant related field a plus
