The Manager, Performance Marketing will help define and manage the execution of the SHOWTIME growth marketing strategy and will be responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of a fully-integrated performance marketing program across customer touchpoints that drive new customer acquisition. This manager will help create and capture demand for SHOWTIME with new audiences through cost-effective direct-to-consumer paid media and partner marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is highly strategic and can guide a project from start to finish, is team and detail-oriented and is able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. This manager will report to the Director of Subscription Marketing and will work alongside others on this team to oversee performance marketing operations for SHOWTIME. This is a high visibility role within the company offering wide exposure to various groups and executives and an opportunity to work on strategic acquisition priorities that have a direct impact on growing our business.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and implement customer-focused campaigns that are cost-effective and drive subscriber growth and maximize revenue for SHOWTIME
  • Identify audience opportunities and partner with internal media team to consistently execute targeted marketing across paid channels (display, social, mobile, search, etc.)
  • Draft and present go-to-market business action plans and tactical assignments to cross-functional teams supporting growth campaigns
  • Project manage across key internal contacts from strategy, media, creative, analytics, legal teams to meet schedules while ensuring quality
  • Partner with marketing, analytics and media teams to optimize campaigns, attract high-value customers and improve productivity and predictability of the performance marketing program
  • Innovate new ways to grow new subscribers and manage re-engagement campaigns to win back lapsed subscribers
  • Work with marketing analytics team to establish campaign KPIs, implement strategic objectives, develop a learning agenda and measure impact of performance marketing program ? Maintain ongoing content calendar and partner with marketing teams to produce seasonal strategies and tactics
  • Be a champion of the overall customer acquisition vision and strategy to internal teams and external partners
  • At least 5 years of brand marketing and/or customer acquisition marketing experience, preferably in entertainment, media, publishing, subscription-based business and/or eCommerce
  • Hands on experience with paid advertising and creative development
  • Proven track record of successfully managing growth marketing and direct response campaigns
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms and marketing best practices
  • Highly analytical, creative thinker and doer
  • Results-driven, data-informed decision-maker
