Description:

This position is responsible for all administrative duties necessary to assist the Controller’s team with business operations.

  • Assist SVP Controller with general administrative functions specifically making copies, mailings, ordering office supplies, organizing meetings, maintaining a team calendar, and answering the phone when the SVP Controller is not available.

  • Maintain the following data bases: foreign vendors, fixed assets, and cash receipts

  • Process check deposits for checks payable to Showtime Networks and its related businesses.

  • Assist with preparing monthly Bank Reconciliations

  • Receive in items ordered by the Procurement Department and keep track of all packing lists

  • Maintain Department’s record retention documentation and assist team members with sending and receiving Iron Mountain Boxes

  • Add and remove access to shipping services such as UPS and City Expeditor Messenger Service

  • Prepare Business Stationery Vendor invoice for payment by confirming with the recipient that all items arrived, getting the invoices signed, and submitting to Accounts Payable.

  • Assist with Subscription renewals and processing subscription invoices

  • Provide back-up support and trouble-shooting when team members are out of the office.

  • Prepare and regularly maintain a current list of trade references in order to establish direct billing with potential vendors.

  • Assist with auditing requests for vendor additions and modifications by verifying vendor authenticity, accuracy of information and compliance with company policy and internal control requirements.

  • Special projects completed and new initiatives implemented as requested.
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Degree in Finance Preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
  • Excellent organization and time management skills as well as the ability to prioritize requests are required to ensure that all tasks are accomplished in a timely and accurate manner. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required as this position interacts with all Finance teams as well as Business Unit employees and vendors.
  • The ability to provide excellent customer service is essential.
  • Competency with EnterpriseOne or similar accounting software. 
  • The ability to work in a team environment is a must.
