The Financial Account Manager (FAM) oversees a wide range of financial responsibilities that ensure accurate reflection of revenue and subscriber information reported within SNI and to CBS.  Manage all financial and contractual aspects (i.e. revenue, marketing expense and budget process) of several Key Accounts and/or a diversified account portfolio for a sales territory.  In addition, actively participate within an empowered, self-directed, and cross-functional team environment.

Oversee all financial aspects of account portfolio in order to achieve established financial fundamentals and maintain integrity of the information in SNI customer database.  Demonstrate cross-functional expertise in accrual based revenue and expense accounting, billing, accounts receivable, cash management, and collections.

Prepare annual revenue budgets and forecasts for a portfolio of accounts.  Perform monthly variance analysis of actuals to estimates in order to effectively adjust quarterly forecasts.  In addition, responsible for communicating forecast variance explanations to senior management.

Provide timely and appropriate reporting and ad-hoc analysis for field sales on an as-needed basis.  Pro-actively identify and develop added-value services that would assist field sales in developing solutions to maximize SNI revenue.

Develop payment templates and reports that reflect the terms and conditions of current contracts and translate complex deal points into the billing system.  Act as integral part of contract  negotiations through the development of complex financial models and contract proposals.  Work closely with Sales to identify risks and opportunities of proposals and participate in meetings with affiliates.

Develop and maintain exceptional business relationships with both external customers (Operators) and internal customers (Field Sales/Business Operations) in order to provide superior customer service


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in financial analysis, contract interpretation/billing and accounts receivable systems


  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Very strong computer skills, including: Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • High level of initiative; pro-active in creating new techniques, proposals, etc.
  • Broad experience with database management and information retrieval.
  • Strong customer service background.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed and empowered team environment
