This position is in charge of ensuring that all of Showtime’s original programming adheres to relevant contractual talent requirements and guild obligations.  The individual in this position is directly responsible for creating and/or approving the onscreen credits for all of Showtime’s original programming as well as reviewing and approving the credit portion of all related advertising, marketing and publicity materials prepared both by our company and those of our affiliates for use in any and all media whether created via digital, print, or video mediums. Will act as a consultant and advisor for on screen credits and advertising created by Pop TV.

Responsible for establishing and maintaining the Original Programming credit policies for Showtime and to ensure that these policies are adhered to both internally and by relevant production entities. Coordinate credit waivers and approvals with the WGA, DGA and SAG-AFTRA as well as working with Showtime executives to insure credits accurately represent both contractual and union requirements .  Advise advertising, marketing and sales departments of all stills, photography and biography requirements for original programming talent in addition to credit and likeness requirements and will advise appropriate personnel of merchandising rights and restrictions.

Additionally, review and approve all advertising and promotional materials for both print and video.  Approval of materials will included key art, tune-in, award advertising, affiliate materials, outdoor and in-flight advertising, soundtrack and domestic and international DVD packaging.  This position oversees approval of all PR Department materials such as Emmy, Golden Globe press releases, TCA  & Comic-Con materials, series and documentary press releases, press kits, cast & crew lists and TV screening invitations. 

  • Education: Bachelor of Arts

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working as a credit administrator on major feature films, network television series and/or cable television networks is required.

  • Strong industry relationships.

  • In depth knowledge of the WGA, DGA, SAG-AFTRA rules and regulations as they relate to on-screen and on-line credits and paid advertising.

  • Working knowledge of different credit formats used by other film and television companies, credit history and trend within the motion picture, streaming services, and pay cable industries. 

  • Excellent knowledge of WGA, DGA, SAG-AFTRA contractual requirements.

  • Familiarity with the credit provisions of both U.S. and international film unions and guilds is required.  

  • Excellent proofreading, editing and research skills are a plus.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret contracts.
