Description:
•How to strategically build digital and social marketing campaigns using research, brand positioning and insights
·Communication skills for presenting ideas both internally and externally
•Developing writing skills by assisting in the creation of the digital portrait, presentation decks and concepts for multi-platform and social content
·Exposure and access to teams outside of the digital department (Program Marketing, Media and Promotions, etc.) through participation in brainstorms and meetings
•Use of internal systems such as JIRA, Redbase and reporting on social KPl's using analytics tools like Canvs and SocialGuide

DIGITAL MARKETING 
  • Assist in creating the digital portrait and managing a digital marketing campaign for TBD series
  • Assist in development of multi-platform content
  • Assist in building and tracking the performance of search marketing campaigns

SOCIAL MARKETING
  • Assist in the creation of social strategy and tone of voice documents for new and returning
series
  • Assist in the development of social assets and copy for series, specials and documentaries
  • Assist with tracking performance and collecting research on the current social media landscape
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Current undergraduate student (rising junior or senior)
  • Strong interest in Cable/Entertainment Industry
  • 2.50 GPA or above
  • Submission of a cover letter - required
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work at least 35 hours/week for 8 weeks from 6/11-8/3
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment under deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work and prioritize work assignments
  • Able to provide administrative support as needed
Preferred:
  • Cable television experience a plus
  • Active participation in extracurricular activities; clubs; and/or associations. Leadership positions while maintaining an above-average GPA, a plus
  • Prior internship experience in a related field, a plus
  • Passion for entertainment and interest in advertising
