CBS Las Vegas is looking for a variety of part-time programming candidates, including On Air Announcers and Board Operators for all six of it's stations, KLUC, KMXB, KXQQ, KXNT, KXTE AND KXST Board Operator • Responsible for running broadcast board inclusive of digital editing, recording and maintaining network feeds. • Protects the company’s FCC license. • May be required to perform light production work • Other duties as required by management. On Air Announcer • Performing live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative. • Preparing and researching for broadcast. • Protecting the station’s FCC license. • Monitoring the music and commercial logs for the airshift. • Ensuring that promotions and contests are executed properly. • Operating the control board and performing production work. • Making personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts. • Other duties as required by management.
Minimum 2 years previous experienced preferred; familiarity with station format required. Must be able to perform with little supervision; familiarity with FCC rules and regulations preferred ;High school diploma required preferred:
