Description:

The Digital Sales Development team within CBS Radio New York’s Digital Media Group works with and supports Sales Managers and local sellers on CBS RADIO and CBS New York Local digital capabilities in pitch presentations, sales calls and offer guidelines regarding pricing and packaging. 

In this role, you will:

  • Assist local Sales Managers and sellers on CBS RADIO and CBS Local digital capabilities

  •  Coordinate and participate in brainstorming sessions

  • Help prepare sales materials for local and national clients/meetings

  • Research client/brand needs and draft client correspondence

  • Assist with execution of national campaigns and tracking compliance

  • Maintain database of station information including, demographics and current statistics

  • Assist with creative development and designs of digital asse

    To be considered, you must have familiarity in the area of online media including internet ad sales, streaming media and online marketing and an understanding of web content as it relates to sales. Experience working with radio stations or other media is preferred.

Additional requirements include:  

  • Experience with streaming media technology is preferred; knowledge of push down ads, podcasting and pre-rolls, a plus.

  • You must have experience creating sales materials.

  • Skills in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is also preferred

  • Minimum college degree with 1 to 3 years related experience.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize while juggling multiple projects simultaneously, and to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be a self starter.

  • Be a creative, conceptual and strategic thinker.

  • Be a team player.

  • Professional and positive manner when working with clients and others.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
