We are looking for a Digital Sales Specialist with the drive and desire to help local businesses grow by utilizing our unique set of digital marketing products in combination with opportunities we uniquely offer to reach listeners and viewers through our powerful local Radio, Digital and NTR platforms.
In this sales role, you will: Act as the company’s digital sales expert in the complete suite of digital products including display, streaming, video, email marketing, sponsorship and content deals. You will assist other Account Executives in creating comprehensive marketing programs for clients driving digital sales growth for ENTERCOM Local. Attend client meetings and assist sales staff with presentations and identify and generate new digital sales opportunities for your team’s book of business.
Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years digital sales experience. Proven knowledge of online sales offerings and industry landscape. Savvy and proficient with digital advertising across multiple platforms. The ability to sell a comprehensive marketing solution. Position requires basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent organizational/time management skills. Must be self-motivated, self-disciplined, have a positive attitude and be an effective communicator. Requires valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and dependable transportation. High school graduate; college preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Generate online revenue through streaming, display and other digital properties.
Spend at least 50% of work time engaging in sales and solicitations outside of the office.
Responsible for exceeding sales budget and collection of sold accounts.
Maintain account lists while soliciting new business.
Prepare promotional plans, sales literature, and advertising proposals.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients by providing top quality service.
Investigate and resolve customer problems.
Communicate with other departments to assure quality service in placing orders.
Attend sales meetings and training sessions.
Performs all other tasks perceived, assigned, and/or required that contribute to the smooth operation of the department and to the achievement of departmental and station goals.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle required.
