CBS Radio has launched a Shared Service Center in Nashville, TN to service Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions for all of its properties. In our Accounts Payable group, we currently have an A/P Administrator/Customer Service position available. This position will assist with providing excellent customer service to our suppliers, administrative duties, and provide backup assistance with processing payment batches and auditing invoices.


Specifically, this role will be responsible for:

  • Print, sort, date stamp, and distribute incoming invoices
  • Provide excellent customer service to vendors and internal customers
  • Research and resolve vendor payment inquiries/issues
  • Vendor account reconciliations
  • Assist A/P Supervisor with audit compliance requests
  • Processing returned supplier checks
  • Backup/assist A/P Supervisor with the following as needed:
    • Reviewing/approving invoice batches
    • Monthly AP month end reconciliations
    • Create and process payment batches
    • Run and research weekly/monthly reports
  • Make improvement recommendations
  • Special projects

As an Associate, you must have ability for attention to detail with focus on exceptional customer service.  In addition:

  • Focus and skill at accuracy, attention to detail and consistency
  • Effective time management skills
  • Effective problem solving and documentation skills
  • Ability to build good relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Provide proactive service to customers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • 3 years A/P experience preferred
