The CBS News Transportation Producer is responsible for actively reporting on all transportation related fields including, but not limited to: aviation, automotive, rail and industry related technology. The producer maintains a regular workflow and monitors various social media platforms for transportation related news as well as formulating and crafting pitches for both CBS Evening News and CBS This Morning. Strong editorial, writing and production skills and a demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines are required. Strong experience producing in the field is a must. The Transportation Producer must be willing to travel frequently on short notice for both breaking news and scheduled news events.
