a team of producers, writers, editors and graphics artists to craft the most active and visually compelling broadcast in network news. The Broadcast Producer will help manage the shows rundown--all elements of the live show production, anchor copy and elements, live and taped interactions with correspondents as well as show teases---working closely with the Executive Producer, Senior Broadcast Producer, Director and writers. In the frequent event of breaking news, this person is in charge of the evolving rundown, overseeing the big-picture editorial flow of the show as well as focusing the reporting, bookings, graphics, and copy that drives the urgent storytelling.
- 8+ years control room and line-producing experience
- 5+ years newsroom management experience
- Must have impeccable news judgment and excellent multi-tasking abilities
- Must be an excellent writer and copy editor
- Thrives in high-pressure and time-critical situations
- Must be a leader and team player with a positive attitude
- Passion for news, journalism, and storytelling
