Work directly with Unit producers developing and research long term investigative stories for CBS News shows. Unit is also responsible for working with the network news desks covering breaking news. Unit jumps in to help with mass shootings and terrorist attacks. AP should be able to develop sources and leads to pitch their own enterprise stories.
This position has a strong social media component. Candidate must be familiar with all major social media platforms and vehicles for engaging audiences on a digital level. This includes - but is not limited to - Facebook, Facebook Live, Twitter, Periscope, Snapchat, Instagram.
- Strong research skills and familiarity with public and private records databases, such as Lexis Nexis
