Role Details:
We are seeking a Contract Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our Human Resources Team in our New York City office. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will support CBS Interactive's recruiting efforts. This position facilitates administrative support for the Talent Acquisition team with a heavy emphasis on scheduling utilizing Google Calendaring and Mail. We are looking for someone who believes and is committed to providing candidates a “red carpet” experience regardless of whether we hire them.  This is a critical and outward facing role to internal clients and candidates. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling a high volume of candidates interviews for the Talent Acquisition team
  • Work with CBS Corporate Travel to organize candidate travel as well as internal Talent Acquisition travel arrangements if needed
  • Manage and file candidate expense reimbursements
  • Provide outstanding client and candidate experience including meet and greet of candidates
  • Supporting the execution of employee experience events locally
  • Perform other projects and responsibilities as assigned
What you bring to the team:
You have -
  • 1+ years of HR experience, related industry or administrative experience
  • 1+ years of experience using Excel or Google Sheets
  • Desire to build a career in Human Resources
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to build relationships and credibility quickly via telephone and email communication
  • Outstanding organization skills (planning and prioritizing) and ability to multitask
  • Ability to take ownership over work and have superior follow up skills while utilizing exemplary customer service skills and attitude
You might also have -
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System a plus
  • Ability to quickly form strong rapport and build credibility with people at all levels, including with internal colleagues and external candidates across domestic and international locations, and from interns to C-Suite
  • Exemplary (effective/tactful/assertive) communication skills, both written (email, slack) and oral (phone, in-person); ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities with exceptional organization, time management and program management skills 
  • Quick learner with a sense of curiosity and the resourcefulness to track down answers
  • Strong mental acuity to be able to reason through issues and resolve problems, while concurrently working with frequent interruptions
  • Work with a strong sense of ownership over work with superior follow-up, attention to detail, and customer service skills
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Google Suite (Doc, Sheets, and Slides)
