Description:

CBSi is launching its Summer 2020 Technical Recruiting Internship Program for qualified college students who are enrolled full-time in an accredited university. 


The Summer 2020 Technical Recruiting Intern will sit in our Burbank office and partner with the Talent Acquisition (TA) Team. You will learn and execute on real projects within the TA team and learn the end-to-end recruiting process. This will encompass building candidate generation strategies by leveraging sourcing campaigns, researching and providing talent data and analytics, and identifying key talent in the markets to engage with on behalf of CBS Interactive.  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist Technical Recruiters with talent pipelining, proactive sourcing, resume review, and/or phone interviews

  • Assist Technical Recruiters with talent mapping for critical business needs in the Tech, Product and Design space

  • Proactively source key talent in the market through a variety of search methods (social media, internal database, Boolean searches, referrals etc.)

  • Work directly with Engineering Managers to gain insight on CBSi’s digital platform and ecosystem  

  • Passionately educate, excite, and sell candidates on both the opportunity and on CBS Interactive’s culture 

  • Strategize "out of the box" ways to build a talent pool and engage candidates 

  • Create reports to provide talent data (market intelligence, competitor analysis, candidate supply & demand, etc) in Excel and/or Google Sheets


Logistics
  • Time commitment: full-time, 40 hours per week. 
  • This is a paid internship and can also be for university credit if it meets your university's guidelines
Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree (in Human Resources, Communications, Economics, Computer Science,  Marketing, Psychology, Business or similar)

  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects in an efficient manner to meet all deadlines

  • Eagerness to build internal and external relationships

  • Strategic and innovative thinker

  • Passionate about learning to work with data to create impactful recruiting strategies

  • Proven computer proficiency with the Google Suite (drives, docs, sheets, slides, etc)

Additional requirements:
  • Intern must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or bootcamp
  • Must be at least 18 years old
