Division Overview:

The mission of CBSi’s Integrated Marketing team is to drive revenue by translating and shaping assets into innovative, impactful experiences for brands and consumers. Role Details:

The CBS Sports Site Strategy team is responsible for creating and developing high-performing sales opportunities that deliver value to our brand partners. The team oversees all key sports properties including NFL, Fantasy Football, College Football and Basketball, PGA Golf and numerous others. 


The Sports Site Strategy Intern will focus on marketing strategy and campaign management, where you’ll be working closely with the Integrated Marketing Managers on media strategy and execution, providing you with a rich understanding of the digital entertainment landscape. 


Your Day-to-Day:

Pre-Sale:

  • Support the creation and development of key marketing materials for our sales team, inclusive of one-sheets, presentations and case studies

  • Assist the IM and Client Solutions teams with responses to advertiser specific RFPs

  • Maintain and track the status of current, in-market sales pitches across all key sports

  • Gather first and third party data and marketplace research, to support and inform our sales materials


Post-Sale:

  • Provide assistance in the post-sale setup process, including but not limited to, the creation of branded graphics and back-end product creation 

  • Collaborate with the Sports Programming team to ensure the successful launch of sponsored campaigns

  • Oversee campaign pacing and delivery through the utilization of Omniture and DFP

  • Support in the creation and development of advertiser wrap reports, showcasing campaign delivery and performance


Logistics
  • Time commitment: full-time, 40 hours per week. 
  • This is a paid internship and can also be for university credit if it meets your university's guidelines
Qualifications:

What you bring to the team: 

You have – 

  • An aptitude and enthusiasm towards gaining more knowledge around integrated marketing and the media industry

  • Self-starter and proactive, eager to jump in and support the team on day-to-day tasks

  • Detail-oriented and organized; capable of multi-tasking between several requests and projects 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to communicate effectively and collaboratively with various teams

  • Proficient in Google applications, including Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google PPT


You might also have – 

  • Passion for Sports

  • Pursuing a Marketing, Communications or relevant degree


Additional requirements:
  • Intern must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or bootcamp
  • Must be at least 18 years old
