Division Overview:

 Our Distribution & Operations team works on expanding distribution of our best-in-class CBS content across multiple types of digital partnerships and business models, including (but not limited to) transactional, ad-supported streaming, subscription video on demand (with CBS All Access), and digital OTT products and partnerships.  We are a diverse and agile team that works in an exciting and fast-paced environment, working cross-functionally across different departments and partnering with multiple technology/distribution partners to ensure that we bring CBS content to consumers, however and wherever they want to consume content.  

Role Details:

  • Assisting the Director, Distribution & Operations with several operational projects focusing on domestic and global distribution

  • Helping with competitive research, program schedule updates, content auditing and video content management

  • Work on projects across entertainment, news and sports programming

  • Work on tasks across various digital video business models (SVOD, vMVPDs, EST, AVOD)

Your Day-to-Day:

  • TV programming schedule creation

  • Assist with content availability and troubleshooting

  • Content management tracking and data entry

  • Competitive analysis and research

  • Promotional marketing asset management

  • Time commitment: full-time, 40 hours per week
  • This is a paid internship and can be for university credit if it meets your university's guidelines

What you bring to the team: 

You have – 

  • Passion and strong interest in media and entertainment

  • Highly detail oriented

  • Deadline focused

  • Proficient at using the Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Marketing, Business, Mass/Media Communication or similar field 

You might also have – 

  • Experience in databases and data entry

Additional Requirements:
  • Intern must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or bootcamp
  • Must be at least 18 years old
