Description:
CBS is launching its Summer 2018 Veteran Internship Program for qualified college Veteran students who are enrolled full-time in an accredited university.

Through this initiative, we are committed to supporting the career development of our veterans by offering hands-on experience, career-building workshops, professional development courses and the opportunity to network with the best in our business.

The Summer 2018 Veteran Talent Sourcer Intern will sit in our SF headquarters and partner with the Talent Acquisition Team to build strategic sourcing and recruiting plans. You will learn and execute on real projects within the Talent Acquisition team and learn the end-to-end recruiting process. This will encompass building candidate generation strategies by leveraging sourcing campaigns, researching and providing talent data, and identifying key talent in the markets to engage with on behalf of CBS Interactive. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Talent Recruiter with proactive sourcing, resume review, and/or phone interviews
  • Proactively source key talent in the market through a variety of search methods (social media, internal database, job boards, networking, internet searches, company targets, referrals etc.)
  • Passionately educate, excite, and sell candidates on both the opportunity and on CBS Interactive
  • Learn the CBSi business and culture to make recommendations to attract and engage candidates
  • Strategize "out of the box" ways to build a talent pool
  • Create, execute, and track sourcing campaigns
  • Engage, develop relationships with, and assist candidates through the recruitment process
  • Research and provide talent data (market intelligence, competitor analysis, candidate supply & demand, etc)
Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or masters degree (in Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, Business or similar)
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects in an efficient manner to meet all deadlines
  • Eagerness to build internal and external relationships
  • Strategic and innovative thinker
  • Passionate about learning to work with data to create impactful recruiting strategies
  • Proven computer proficiency with the Google Suite (calendars, drives, docs, sheets, slides, etc)

Additional Requirements:
  • You must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • You must be at least 18 years old
