Description:
CBS Sports Digital is consistently the #2 or #3 sports property in the overall comScore sports category rankings. We are launching an always on, live streaming sports service, our first step the first step towards creating the future of digital sports television. We are seeking a Product Management MBA Intern to join the CBS Sports video product team to build out our service on connected TV devices, web, and mobile apps. The intern will collaborate closely with product designers to understand and analyze sports fans’ needs, plan out upcoming enhancements, and work with engineers to build and launch features that will delight our users and drive business goals. 

 The intern will own projects that span some portion of the product development lifecycle, such as: 
  • Digging into data on user behavior patterns on our site 
  •  Assessing competing or similar products in the sports and media landscape 
  • Wireframing and creating prototypes with the product design team 
  • Participating in user testing and research 
  • Writing product requirements for engineering 
  • Testing functionality for upcoming releases 
  • Monitoring and reporting on user metrics post-launch
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing an MBA degree or equivalent 
  • Keen interest in product management, media, and technology 
  • Passion for sports 
  • Understanding of what makes a great digital user experience 
  • Can communicate clearly and effectively - on paper, in person, over email/chat - across all functions and levels of the org 
  •  Able to get into the minds of users and customers 
  • Self-starter who can identify opportunities and problems and go after solutions Intellectually curious with a constant thirst to learn 
  • Can think strategically but loves rolling up your sleeves and getting stuff done 
  • Familiarity with agile scrum methodology a plus 

 Additional Requirements: 
  • Intern must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university (Graduate Level Candidates ONLY) 
  • Must be at least 18 years old
