Role Details:
As the slate of original programming for CBS All Access continues to grow, so does the need for additional creative marketing leadership.  In your role as Sr. Director, Creative Marketing your job is to cultivate best-in-class marketing content supporting our CBS Interactive teams. We are looking for someone with a positive and collaborative approach, who can effectively work cross-functionally with executives, Creative Directors, and strategic marketing leads to foster alignment on the creative vision for each campaign. You will work with creative teams including designers, production personnel, and editors to deliver inspired, clear, creative direction that results in content that levels-up to strategy and often exceeds creative expectations. You will draw from your production background and operations expertise to help refine workflow and suggest process adjustments that decrease individual load and increase efficiency, ultimately giving creative teams more room to create. The ideal candidate has experience that demonstrates both creative and logistical excellence in a successful environment. 

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Provide clear, insightful creative direction for marketing assets created by groups within CBSi 
  • Work with Director, Creative Production to support creation of launch campaign assets developed by other divisions
  • Work cross-functionally to support product quality and best practices for brand consistency across marketing campaigns
  • Facilitate efficient and effective communication between groups to guide marketing campaigns from ideation through on-time delivery
  • Work with senior leadership to constantly evolve & refine workflow
  • Leverage and implement best-practices and technology across divisions to support system scalability, effective production, budgeting and tracking of assets
What you bring to the team:
You have -
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 10 years experience as a Creative Director at a media organization and or creative agency
  • Proven track record of breakthrough creative development and a passion for storytelling 
  • Experience in emerging visual design trends, including Print, OOH, Interactive, Email, Mobile and Social
  • Proven ability and experience collaborating with teams and delivering constructive, inspired, creative feedback 
  • Advanced knowledge of video production and post-production with experience with systems implementation in a successful environment
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize against goals
  • Strong communication skills and ability to foster healthy relationships cross-functionally
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to a challenging, fast-paced environment of multiple priorities and stakeholder
You might also have -
  • Experience video editing with Adobe Premiere or Avid software
  • Experience using team collaboration platforms like Asana or JIRA
  • Experience with AVOD / streaming subscription services
  • Proficiency in G Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Groups, Chat) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
