Division Overview:
The CBS Sports Social Media team creates and distributes all content posted from CBS Sports, CBS Sports HQ, CBS Sports Network, CBS Sports Podcast, and SportsLine social media channels. In a sports media landscape that's cluttered with noise, we take pride in building content that resonates with our audience and represents the core values of our brands.

Role Details:
The Senior Manager will lead the charge in building our premiere sports gambling brand, SportsLine, on social media. You will be tasked with constructing and executing a social strategy, building the presence of SportsLine talent on social, and creating original content for SportsLine’s various social media accounts.

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Build SportsLine’s social strategy from the ground up
  • Regularly report data to prove the effectiveness of your strategy
  • Program SportsLine accounts across different social platforms
  • Build content plans/calendars for each platform
  • Coordinate with SportsLine talent to produce/post video to SportsLine’s social accounts
  • Frequently interface with CBS Sports and 247 Sports social teams to ensure SportsLine content is amplified from larger CBS Sports family
  • Collaborate with SportsLine editorial and marketing teams in driving traffic and subscriptions to SportsLine.com 
Qualifications:
What you bring to the team:
You have -
  • 5 years experience managing branded social media accounts, preferably in Sports industry
  • Familiarity with and passion for sports gambling and DFS industry
  • Understanding of overarching audience trends in social and how sports gambling factors into them
  • Willingness to adapt working schedule to cover prime time sports viewing hours on nights and weekends
  • Ability to work under fast turnaround times
  • Grasp of Adobe Photoshop
You might also have –
  • Exceptional writing ability and strong understanding of English grammar
  • Experience managing direct reports
