Division Overview:
The Social Solutions team is seeking a Coordinator to join our growing team. Social Solutions is a part of the larger CBS Interactive Integrated Marketing team that oversees advertising solutions for the CBS portfolio of premium brands.

Role Details:
The Social Solutions team is responsible for developing and advancing social sponsorship strategy for CBSi brands, empowering and educating Integrated Marketing and Sales on social solutions for brands, and innovating and improving our social offerings in response to evolving client needs. The Social Solutions team manages the sales process from ideation to execution, including paid media efforts, for sponsored campaigns that run on social media platforms. 

The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and thrives in this fast-paced and quickly evolving marketplace. This role will support the Social Solutions teams across verticals and advertiser categories. 

Your Day to Day:
  • Assist with paid marketing campaigns across social platforms, knowing how best to optimize for engagement and efficiency
  • Once a social program launches, closely monitor and recommend/coordinate any necessary adjustments to content or paid strategies to ensure peak performance for our clients
  • Become a social content expert, researching and analyzing internal and external reporting to identify content trends and optimizations to ensure peak performance
  • Pull and analyze campaign metrics for all social campaigns to ensure we deliver in full 
  • Assist the Social Solutions team with day-to-day projects, chipping in where help is needed
  • Keep meetings note for programming, social, and legal calls
Key Projects:
  • Assist with tests around new platforms or ad formats under the guidance of their manager
  • Report on costs, rates, and trends in paid media
  • Manager research reporting, becoming an expert in social research tools
  • Compile regular category research reports for sales decks 
  • Keep an updated tracking report of the social competitive marketplace (TV and digital) in order to understand what our competitors are doing, where clients are spending their ad dollars and what unique executions are running on various channels
What you bring to the team: 
You have – 
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 1+ years experience in social, digital media, or relevant marketing or analytics field
  • Strong project management abilities
  • Analytical and loves diving into the numbers to find and tell a story
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Resourcefulness
  • Passion for learning new things
  • Positive, solutions-oriented attitude 

You might also have – 
  • Experience with paid social media buying
  • Experience working with/on Sales or Integrated Marketing teams
  • Photoshop and/or video editing skills (for minor changes to programs on the fly)
  • Strong copywriting skills
