Description:
CBS.com is seeking a sharp, creative, resourceful, enthusiastic and detail-oriented social media producer who is passionate about engaging television, entertainment and media audiences through the use of social media.

The ideal candidate excels in a collaborative and fast-paced environment and is focused on the objective of connecting consumers and clients with content, community, and interactivity through social media. Strong writing skills are a must.  Previous work in video production preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in managing CBS Digital Platforms’ daily content updates and promotional efforts across social media platforms
Live tweet select primetime and daytime shows including creating original content such as gifs and memes as well as engaging with fans and talent in real time
Manage FB Live production from ideation to execution for select primetime and daytime shows
Assists with organizing, planning and implementing live social media events with CBS talent
Assists in monitoring trends in social media tools, platforms and applications and makes recommendations for applying to ongoing strategy or opportunities
Enterprises new ideas for packaging and promoting content to grow social audience and increase engagement and reach
Assists in gathering analytical data about social media program performance and helps monitor benchmarks for measuring success and impact of social media programs and campaigns
May be required to work occasional Sunday evenings to cover live tweeting of primetime shows
Qualifications:
In-depth understanding and daily use of social media platforms is a must (including Facebook , Twitter, Instagram)
Previous use of social publishing platforms such as Sprinklr and Spredfast, and social listening/reporting tools such as Social Guide
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent writing skills
Must be comfortable directing, interviewing and working with Talent
Must successfully pass a background check

Additional Preferred Skills
Basic knowledge of image manipulation tools like Photoshop and Illustrator
Previous Facebook Live production using tools such as Mevo and Livestream studio
Eye for video production
Comfort with being on-camera a plus
