Division Overview:
We are an enthusiastic group leading the future of media and technology, providing social intelligence to shape strategies and marketing efforts for brands under CBS Interactive’s Entertainment division.

Role Details:
The social media analyst will work within the CBS Interactive Social Content Development & Programming team in our Burbank office. Specifically, this analyst will assist with social reporting/insights, covering areas such as account/post-performance analyses, social listening, social tracking, and more. The analyst will have an opportunity to impact hundreds of millions of TV fans through powerful social media content.

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Data extraction/entry
  • Distill complex social media data into easy-to-understand and actionable insights
  • Social listening across daytime, late night, and primetime programming
  • Campaign tracking

Key Projects:
  • Create daily social listening reports for key programming and events
  • Design reporting templates in analytics tools and service to various departments
  • Surface social trends to larger teams both internally and externally
  • Evaluate social strategies of competitors to identify opportunities
What you bring to the team:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Demonstrated experience in translating data into insights
Proficiency in microsoft office
Expert in social native reporting
Experience in social analytics tools such as Sprinklr, Spredfast, Nielsen SocialGuide, Sysomos
Ability to work in a fluid environment, against tight deadlines
Great communication skills and ability to articulate concepts
Must be willing to work on weekends
Interest in television, entertainment and pop culture

You may also have--
Knowledge in SQL; Tableau; Omniture
Proficiency in Photoshop
