Role Details:
We are actively seeking to bring in a new Senior Manager, Talent Development to join our team of engaged professionals and manage global programs and execution in 3 main areas: learning and development (60%), talent management (30%), and diversity and inclusion initiatives (10%). Our future team member is passionate about helping people learn and grow, has strong business acumen and program management skills, and is interested in working in a high-tech, friendly and collaborative environment. The Senior Manager, Talent Development is a key member of the Talent team (which includes Talent Acquisition), and brings leadership, creativity and efficiency to all talent-related processes.

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Design, develop and facilitate training courses and reinforcement programs to help employees build relevant skills necessary to succeed at work
  • Partner with HR business partners (HRBPs) and business leaders to identify individual, team and company learning and performance needs, and design/facilitate strategic programs or develop other learning resources to close performance gaps
  • Manage talent management processes and systems, including annual performance reviews, goal-setting, career development and succession planning tools, and provide applicable training and guidance to increase adoption
  • Partner on D&I initiatives from a learning perspective, including providing guidance to our development-focused Employee Resource Group to help increase belonging and engagement
  • Provide direct leadership to our Learning and Development Coordinator, including coaching, coordinating/directing work, and celebrating achievements.  This includes overseeing the following programs:  New Hire Orientation and the Onboarding process; learning measurement and reporting; and learning technologies (LMS and e-learning)
  • Partner closely with HRBPs and cross-functional teams to provide and acquire feedback on talent development programs, and make iterations to increase organizational effectiveness
  • Analyze business impact on organizational programs, communicate insights that assist in increasing positive behavioral change, and make necessary adjustments to increase efficacy

Key Projects:
  • Within your first 12 months, you will have dramatically changed the Talent function in several areas, including the following strategic projects:
  • Create and implement a learning reinforcement campaign, including microlearning initiatives, skills-practice sessions and other tools to help employees apply their learnings and practice behavioral change
  • Design, develop and manage an employee learning portal that will house all things learning-related and provide one-stop access for development tools
  • Refine and manage our Performance Gap Analysis process and design new training courses for leaders and employees based on priority needs
  • Develop a menu of structured facilitation offerings and best practices to help teams enhance productivity and efficacy
Qualifications:
What you bring to the team:
  • 5+ years of Organizational Effectiveness experience (e.g. Learning and development with adult learners, Talent management, Change management, and/or Organizational effectiveness) in support of large scale employee development and/or transformational initiatives
  • Exceptional facilitation and platform skills with strong executive presence in front of audiences of all sizes
  • 2-3 years of instructional design experience focused on practical tools that increase behavioral change
  • Exemplary relationship builder and communicator who is consultative in nature and able to quickly form partnerships with clients at all levels    
  • Strategic thinker with strong process orientation; able to pivot from strategy to execution as well as anticipate changes to maintain effectiveness 
  • Creative and conceptual thinker who can facilitate unstructured strategic sessions, and also design, novel and transformative solutions for teams
  • Strong organization skills and project management acumen, with a keen detail-orientation 
  • Ability to collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to generate recommendations and measure progress
  • Flexible and quickly adapt to change and shifting priorities to meet organizational needs
  • Basic knowledge of Google Suite, working knowledge of cloud-based file sharing programs, and experience with Learning Management Systems
  • Ability to travel (20%), both domestic and international
